Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Don't like changes or is it something else?

I was moved to a new team again, but unlike many here, I don’t mind at all. I even love that kind of dynamic. I see it as an opportunity to learn something new that I believe will help me when I look for a new job somewhere else. I wonder why people don’t like it when they get moved to a new team?

It's the uncertain politics of a new group. You're always basically one review away from being walked out... and that's basically based on whether your FLM likes you more than someone else who's already in the group.

Now, you're low man on the totem pole. At the next layoff, you're the first out the door.

I don't mind it either.
