I’ve heard some rumors that there could be significant layoffs soon, but hopefully they’ll just remain rumors. Some managers are leaving so there is a lot of speculation going around, however, unfortunately, rumors often come true.
I’m not claiming anything, I’m just wondering if anyone has more insights about possible upcoming layoffs?

still.....no major layoffs....this is proof of fear mongering.
all good in the all hands. Things are moving in the right direction, positive outlook for ISG. Sales may be different, who knows.
Seems the IRS Private Letter has been received but not announced. A lot is about to come down, and the CFO's response to inflationary environment is "our focus is a direct model". The CAMs fired last month could be just the start. A lot of dead weight on the sales teams and channel structure.
Was there any news from the All Hands that was previously mentioned for the 22nd

we have all hands on 22 so if layoff around corner, it will probably happen by then.
I know of WFR in South Africa and UAE that happened for some individuals in the last couple of weeks. Not sure of volumes but a "small" %

It's absolutely true. Why in the he heck would anyone go through the trouble of posting news like layoffs or restructuring if it wasn't true. It's happening- it's ugly- and unfortunate. Whenever I see someone post disparaging comments or argue with someone who is trying to use this site as intended- to share LAYOFF news or pass along hope to those who've been laid off.... I suggest we should ALL understand the person who's being so inappropriate must be an active employee, HR rep, or other poor soul who's tasked with monitoring the site on behalf of the company. No way can such a person be in the unfortunate position of actually being worried about their position (at least not this week) or recently laid off. Knock it off! Karma is real!

100 plus employees in my work group told that their positions are phased out no real reason just that it’s a business decision.
Although the people in the “list”were mostly older employees with many years at Dell/EMC and in higher paying positions. This is how Dell operates remove older employees, and replace them with off shored workers-or send the work to third party alliance company HCL. This is how they “innovate”. So there are people at this company losing their jobs all of the time. The company doesn’t file any WARN or announce.

Yes the lazy and the incompetent are let go and those layoffs are going on always. Healthy companies do that. Nothing new under the sun..
