Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Spiraling downward

As a rep I certainly hate to see a strike but this company has put profit above absolutely everything. Glad they are doing it. I understand profit is a driving factor but we have sacrificed everything in name of profit. Nabisco is unquestionably the worst DSD company out there. Supply issues have been terrible long before covid. Service has been reduced. Product is consistently damaged due to cost savings on packaging. We all worked through a pandemic to bring record sales to the company and were rewarded with .5 - 1% pay increases. But most of all employee moral is TERRIBLE. All of this seems to be part of the Dirk era but all we here from him is his cute little Dirk Radio. We never hear anything from upper management unless it is in regard to diversity and inclusion. Nabisco needs to get their cr-p together

Leaving this organization was the single best thing I ever did for my career. Management is pigs. Glad I took a bag of cash with me!
Thanks Dirk

We as reps need to organize as well. And stand with the factory workers this is a very big indicator of us going warehouse sooner than later as a rep Ive been working overtime since before the pandemic avg 50 plus hrs a week. Im a rep merch and dm all in one

And only got a 10 cent raise this year with a whole lot more responsibilities

You ask a dm for help. There response is welcome to the new way of things. Only way to make this better is to hurt them where it hurts their pockets !!!!!!!!!

Thank you for saying exactly my thoughts. I can't imagine a company being as inept as this one. All focus is in the exact wrong areas. When you see who they choose to promote to upper management, you understand why.
