HOPE all companies force COVID vaccine, or at least make the employee pay for there own weekly testing and not cover their health insurance.
My comment about this being part of the great reset was removed.
CVS Caremark has implemented mandatory vaccinations for corporate. If you don't plan on being vaccinated, you will be terminated. Doesn't appear to be a 'work from home' option. Very interesting mandate.
I vote to work from home. Loving my 12 hour work week
Dell funds the CDC…. Vaccination mandates are coming.
Considering I have to be in the office, could you all just continue to work from home, so that I don't have to get injected with this mystery chemical! Thanks in advance.
we're not going back to the office so what difference does it make.
The right thing to do is for companies to require vaccinations for people whe enter a company building.
This is a mandatory vaccine debate, not a mask debate @2roo+1ctGe4qV
I don't agree with @2xfw+1ctGe4qV that you're correct, exactly. A company is not a democracy, nor should it be. The people that are responsible for leading it make decisions about what is best for the people that work there, as a whole. It has been said many times, 'my body, my choice', but as an employee you don't get to pick what the choices are. You get to choose between the options that are offered. Do we all vote on our salaries?
I'm not even sure why being in a "democratic country" empowers you to make the choice? Democracy is a process choosing government. It does not convey you free reign to do whatever you want. Maybe you're confusing it with your 'freedoms' or 'rights'.
If you're in Texas and a woman, both 'my body, my choice' and 'freedoms' are really powerless platitudes these days, but that's a different failing of TX Governor A**ho-e, sorry Abbott.
There's a lot of speculation here, especially as there has not been a hint of requiring vaccinations to remain employed at Dell. Maybe that will 'age like milk' as they say, but it's the way it is now.
wow, now we're a mask wearing debate site. I see enough of this BS on the news.
Yes @1ixt+1ctGe4qV
That is correct. But your workplace is more than a democracy, it's people and families that are impacted by your choice. You know it, everyone reading knows it. Stay home if you cant look after yourself
In a democratic country, getting the shot would be my my choice, without any repercussions, retaliation or humiliation.
This site is about layoffs, not about sooking because you have to get a needle.
Pretty certain that some of the laid off employees out there will happily take a jab to get a job.
Easy there fellows, they might get upset and go private again.
I hear Compal Electronics has a good line of products
Dell is not a leader, they are followers...
You mean slaves?
Dell is not a leader, they are followers...
That's not a Dell issue, it's a community/workplace safety issue that is uniform across all businesses.
Any organisation that wants their workers to return to work in the fastest and safest way will likely ask you to be vaccinated. That's not personal, it's financially astute and protects the company, it''s customers and staff.
No one is sitting in galactic headquarters debating anti vacc etc etc. That doesnt come into it. The fact you've even asked the question means you are simply looking for an argument about vaccines. We are way past that now.
