Town Hall way forward or kept in the dark?

What will mikey say in the upcoming town hall?

Do we think he will discuss growth details of plans, future eg how much, when, what, and how? Will he share any ideas beyond high level logos, stack, new dxc etc.

Anything on chopping, streamlining, or updating the outdated lawrie middle management duplicate layers?

Anything to recognise the pay raises were delayed and too low, and Mary has had a pay cut from $5 million for not achieving the date.

Or will be the usual?

You won't hear anything they haven't already told wall street... That's totally normal for a publicly traded company.

So it will be fluff around staff morale being tip top and everything going according to plan. It's just a cheerleader session.

That's a fairly good summary.

I can see a couple of additions

Vi nod (the yes man) and Mary HR getting a small rise of 33%, was supposed to be 3.3% but a typo went through and now they will be upped to $8million only, they are struggling with the cost of living going up in their palaces.

Oh dear just $6 million off the bottom line, will mean more cuts and scrwing over the lower levels for next year and beyond to adjust for the error.

The new flying saucer stack will be announced whereby we go into bitdxc coin transctions in the virtual galaxy on the Indian Stock Exchange. That's what we will be going to market with and the customers are already engaged in migrations.

We can offer it at 60% discounts as we're using a lot of hot air from hotter climates which is cheaper than expensive western staff.

Onwards and upwards folks on our journey, blag for another couple of years.

The pay rises were delayed = bonus for Mary, as in-quarter and full year costs will be lower.

Pay rises too low = more bonus for Mary for keeping cost down.

Plays nicely into the short-term leadership style of DXC

Next townhall in line with all previous. 60 min to explain what can be read in less than 3 minutes; all relevant questions filtered and bluntly ignored.
According to rumours….
A few words about the fanfare preparation of 5 yrs DXC on 1 Apr 2022; huge dividend for shareholders paid by salary freeze and bonus elimination for next 5 years. More seniors managers are needed to streamline our perfect processes. More work to be shifted to low cost countries. All clients are happy and all employees are satisfied. Travel ban continues for 2 more years. Huge pipeline of opportunities in SFDC but not on the annual report. Our sales staff are the real heros, delivery staff is the necessary evil. Not a single word of the >12% drop in stock price.
