Assuming no layoffs the rest of the year, NatGen folks will move to Allstate benefits, job titles, and pay bands. Anyone have insight into this? Which bands are bonus eligible? Are the benefits and bonuses decent or sub-par.

Even if you’re bonus eligible, it won’t be what you expect. They take away from people with expected ratings to give to the BTEs. So, even if you’re expected, you won’t get your target payout generally. Only company I’ve seen do it this way.
Bonuses????? Not in Allstate's vocabulary (at least for the peons like the majority of the employees.
You'll lose your bonus if you currently receive one. I came from Esurance and I lost mine. Effectively, they took away $6k+ a year from me and doubled my work in return.
Lovely.
Bonus eligible? LOL
As a competitor of Allstate/Nat Gen, I’m hoping the highly compensated pricing folks start doing their hatchet job on Nat Gen. With Allstate pricing in charge, you will see double digit rate increases and underwriting guidelines that were developed in the 1980’s. Moreover, Nat Gen’s claims were poor to begin with and should continue to be substandard to the rest of the market. These practices will open up some market share for the competition that will welcome Nat Gen business. Moreover, independent agents will tell Allstate sales management to go pound sand when their ignorant attitudes try to strong arm the IA’s into writing more business.
Yes, best bet is to start looking. The longer you stay, the less marketable you will be for the industry. Allstate has become a laughing stock. You will be damaged goods..
Thanks for the replies. Not sure what band I will be in, bit sounds like it won't be bonus eligible. Good to know. I think my best bet is to start looking for another role somewhere else.
If you work your bu-t off all year you may get a $150 highly taxed performance bonus.
Enjoy your $5 gift cards and PTO you can never us. And bonus? Boy are you in for some major disappointment. Also enjoy your almost impossible to meet metrics that will be implemented and if you do happen to meet those metrics enjoy your 1-2% tops "raises". Benefits...Allstate doesn't know what good benefits are but by God they will hang it over your head daily.
No employer paid life insurance. High deductible health insurance. Decent PTO. Bonuses for Upper management and sales.
$10 gift cards and if you’ve been extra good you might get $125 but that is rare. Bonuses goal sharing gain sharing stock are non existent. Only thing you’re going to get is a deposit into your 401(k) at the beginning of the year usually in February. Allstate is a laughing stock when it comes to treating their employees well.
Bonuses? Bahahahahaha! Only upper management get bonuses. You NatGen folks are about to be highly disappointed. PTO is above average generous if you can actually find a ho-e to use it. As for the rest of the benefits they are pretty cr---y.
