Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

They only know how to plan layoffs

Where has the development of true vision, defining targets, focusing on systematic growth and long-term plans gone?
It seems to me that planning a direction in which they want to take this company is reduced to just planning cuts. And then they wonder why most employees have no motivation to do their best...

Agree with posters below - at DXC / CSC same old same old story - no money for training, no money for wage increases, cutting down per-diem travel down to bones, slow IT equipment in field and we had to buy things like mouse, keyboards, etc.

Moral of story Don't expect Hope or positivity at DXC - same old story at CSC under disastrous leadership of Mike L - his only skill offload work to low cost centres in India and Far East and WFR the rest as much as possible in UK, Europe and USA - thus loosing hard working experienced IT specialist - resulting in worse experience and service for our remaining customers + p%%% them off more.

This is what happens when a tech company is run by people with no tech knowledge or ability. They can't provide a vision or direction on something they do not understand. The leaders only understand financial management. Thus their only solution is to reduce expenses.

No product or growth strategy. And don't expect one. Even if they turned around the finances, there will never be a growth plan with these leaders. Once you realize, you will get in gear and get yourself to a real company.

That's why it's famously called in the IT world

  1. D

eXit
Company

D Xit Company

Masters of wfr and cost cutting, wouldn't know what growth is if they were handed a big contract to run. How many years since the last growth?

They only know how to run off contracts and re bid for existing contracts at 30% discount.

Then they try and do the unachievable by trying to chop ruthlessly where they can.

Strange how IBM, TCS, Accenture etc can all grow but D eXit Company always cuts and shrinks.
