I’m in one of the 53. It is a joke. The OVM is running the program, not the Store Manager. Support is doing the same job as before and receiving and fulfillment are falling apart. As long as the OVM doesn’t have to step out of their comfort zone. Life is good at Macys’s
Sad state of affairs to say the least.

No sweetie, it IS rolling out company wide this fall. They’ve already made their decision, at least that’s what I’ve heard from my management.

It’s simply a joke. My store is already part of the integrated selling but honestly things are the way they’ve always been.
Only difference is selling associates float around instead of staying in one area.
I wish things would go back where merchandisers does merchandising , signers does signing and visual gets to do actual VISUAL.
Also I think selling should have their own areas where they can learn about the product, brands sizing and not having people sell in a different area day after day.
Maybe all I have are old memories of what was once a decent place to work.

OK got it, related to the 53 store Pilot. I've heard rumblings from a few store Associates already, some of them not taking to it well, but in this retail world you have to be well rounded and versatile, "do more with less" as they say. Don't give them a reason to let you go.

Our store is already doing it, it's part of the 53 stores pilot program. If this program is successful, it will be roll out to the rest of stores in the future.

When you say integrated IT does that mean Tech support? Please explain further as to what you heard, or do you mean something else.
