When did the HV leadership and managers lose their sense of business and work ethic? I don’t remember the times when there were less of both in this company.

The board members care more for their officers than they do for their enlisted. Relieving the officers due to ignorance, corruption, and morale should be the norm. Unfortunately, this has not been true.
There are also cultural differences: what is quality, craftsmanship, practices for cost reduction/reducing expenses, and expenditures. HV is definitely in a losing situation given the decisions brought down.
It began around 2013. Wrong leaderships team promoted incompetent mangers. Incompetent managers hire buddies (also incompetent). The rest are history
