Do you also think that Allstate will continue to buy other companies? I believe they will, no matter how wrong it may be. This company doesn't seem to know how to make a good move anymore. So I hope I won’t be here if they announce a new acquisition. What a joke of a company this is becoming, unbelievable.

Remember that one time we bought a company that was losing money and then it kept losing money and then we just pretended like it never happened....
NatGen and Allstate product/pricing teams are both awful. Lack of consistency and way too reactive for rate.

Allstate needs to show growth in some way shape or form. History tells us they cant grow organically. The track record with with CNA Esurance is /was abysmal. Independent Agents are going to tell Nat Gen to go pound sand when the chimpanzee that runs their actuary department tries to put on some double digit rate increases. However, growth has happened in the 8-track player warranties that they are selling at Walmart and Montgomery Wards. Maybe they can expand at the Maxwell Street Flea Market and warrantee all the stolen power tools that sold curbside.
Legal Ops meeting today at Nat Gen President was bragging about recent rate hikes that were higher than any other insurance company was ever allowed. So, in case there was any lingering doubt, the focus of the company is now 100% profit. Not better products, not innovation, not a better customer experience. And since Allstate seems incapable of attracting new customers on its own, we'll continue to buy our new customers.
