I worked at a competing company before I came here and I have to admit I was disappointed because I expected the working conditions at Mondelez to be at least a little better. Now it seems to me that it looks more or less the same everywhere in this industry. So I am a little hesitant whether to accept a new job in a company that is also in this industry.

i can understand why you would feel this way. maybe some networking for awhile would help answer those questions...ive always tried to cultivate good relationships with others in the dsd community if for no other reason than to feel like i knew what was happening, or maybe morbid curiosity...at my age i really didnt need to work full time anymore and i made the decision to get out of grocery stores altogether!
took me a couple months though but i had planned my exit in advance. good luck!
