I quit and I wish I could have recorded my spv face where I could use it as my daily meditation “find your happy place” theme. Tried to make me stay with some empty promises and I did the Ariana and said : Thank u, next 🙏 bye Felicia

@hau+1cjQRLnG I am one who opted for PIL and happily left, knowing bigger and better things will be ahead. My supervisor was surprised to say the least and didn’t seem like it crossed her mind I might leave. Sure I’m not the only one in that boat.

My supervisor is glad I accepted the PIP. Is that because they are losing too many people to PIL?

Predict the manager layers get cut next. They just sit around listening to powerpoints and never provide any REAL leadership. Worthless bags of sh!t

Looks like we are now below critical mass in too many skill sets for meaningful capital projects. If we think a " light touch" with the Contractors and Suppliers will be sufficient, we are kidding ourselves. We certainly have the results of recent examples of that that approach. Many are legitimately concerned about the path forward.

all of GP is trying so hard to be relevant, justify savings. . . but reality is GP engineers dont know how EM facilities operate - no idea how a plant works. Refineries and Chem plants cant afford really expensive coordination teams regurgitating powerpoint slides. time to jump ship, if you have the skills.

Coming to the same conclusion tonight myself. Heard raises will be less that inflation for most this December.

I’m an engineer in BPO and it has become very clear that our contributions are not valued. Leadership talks incessantly about capturing value via engineering centers in Asia and it’s become obvious that a long term career here is not feasible except for a small minority. All my friends that I hired in with have resigned. I’ve been in denial hoping things would turn around. Seeing them make the jump has gotten me to the point of acceptance. I started applying elsewhere a few days ago.
