I think they have made it obvious that they will outsource as many U.S. non-lawyer jobs as much as possible.
That doesn't mean there will be thousands of lay offs happening here.
I'm surprised TR hired anyone from HSBC. I am an HSBC Premier Customer and it's an awful bank. They are constantly retrenching and closing branches. If it weren't for my (unused) line of credit and how long it takes to open another acct, I'd leave them. I also interviewed for a corporate role at HSBC 3 yrs ago. I couldn't wait to get out of their Dilbertian offices. What a mess.
