Engineers usually say “yes we can” and fix the problem
Why was he put in charge of SC? Same question….I don’t think you can compare this to NW….as he never left ops.

Someone technical minded with experience on the operational side should be good for IT, better than bringing some IT pro in from outside with no o&g experience. But are you asking why BB wasn't first pick? Who knows
