I know Friday is usually not a day for layoffs but nothing seems to be off-limits anymore. I haven't heard that anything else was hit but it's not impossible. It's shameful how regular layoffs have become here. Every few months we hear about a few people (or more) who are no longer employed. How are we supposed to work and worry about losing our jobs 24/7?

When the major cuts happened earlier this year in Feb / March, they let go of so many people that were the best legacy employees the company had. Leadership clearly tried to save their friend's jobs at that time, without any forethought to the consequences. Those "leaders" have now trotted off to other companies before they got fired, with their minions hot on their heels after destroying once viable departments. And, now people are fleeing those departments before they totally implode. This is all fact, not subjective. Not the company that it once was, that's for sure.
They let go of one of the best Directors this company has. I am in complete shock. He was so good at his job, cared about his team and was well liked by everyone. What this company is doing makes no sense. Is anyone safe anymore?
Layoffs are still happening quietly. They are trying to avoid a mass RIF. You’ll see people
online and gone through next.
It’s sad to see what has happened over the past couple years. Once vibrant and engaged teams are now filled with fear and ambivalence about remaining employed.

You are so correct about centene not caring about their employees. Look out for yourself and give the minimum to these creeps.
