Just curious is I’m the only one. It is ABSURD they would make us come into the office after successfully working from home for so long.

No way iam going back to that commute! Been looking for other wfh jobs
Cannot. Wait. To. Leave.
Please…pay me to leave. Give me a severance so I can get another job and get paid twice.
Please.
To anyone asking about remote positions, just go to a company's website and for location look for "virtual" or "remote". Most major insurance companies, and even some of the smaller ones, seem to have some positions. Every company doesn't let you work remote from all locations (some are specific to certain States or cities), but some do. Each company also seems to have only certain positions that allow this, not all. Happy hunting!
I’m quitting. Made the decision easy.
I'm quitting. What are some other companies that won't force us into the field?
Anyone know of any companies remote. I’m not trying to return to the field.
I already left after 10years with centene. When I gave my notice, no empathy or concern. The only thing that I was asked is to put a good knowledge transfer plan and transition everything to the team. This company has no morale nor gratitude towards hard working employees.
The Tempe AZ office has a 10-20% Covid rate in the last month for office workers. The anti-vaxxers are refusing to wear masks and they are the only employees going into the office regularly. Our RTW date is pushed back to October - after the layoffs start?
I already left. Centene is way to backwards. Executives need to go.
I'm QUITTING, along with 16 others (that I know of) in my region, who the he-l wants to be in a damn office catching COVID variants. Who wants to commute, spend money on clothes, car maintenance, and gas they can kiss my big fat @$$!
There is absolutely no reason why wfh can’ be made permanent. What gives them the right to say what is safe and what is not?
I’m gone as soon as they require me back. Good riddance to them. My work life balance and health should matter to them too.
Employers only care about facts and results when it benefits THEM. If there was no noticeable uptick in key metrics for them (ie. only for you saved commute, gas, and better work life balance) they don't care. Just get back in the office and dont ask questions, they pay for real estate space and dont care about you is the bottom line.
Yep, I did and working happily for another employer who values WFH.
