Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Medical Accommodation

This may be a waste of time but what is the likelihood of getting approved to wfh due to medical condition. From everything what I've read on here and research it seems like CNC is dead set against wfh. Part of me hopes I get laid off because iam just so burned out and exhausted with the amount of work they have piled on us and then expecting us to meet metrics and pass audits!

Take it from someone that has ADA they still make it very difficult for me to stay home , Centene would care less about the disabled. Diagnosis never changes for the disabled and they will approve only 6 months then three and then ??? They make it so stressful, just the paperwork alone creates a tremendous amount of stress. They do their best to mistreat people with disabilities and FMLA . Find a job that has work from home jobs, I’m looking I hate Centene! and I’m sure their next lawsuit will be due to them failing to protect people with disabilities!

If your request is via FMLA and backed up by doctors - in writing, you'll likely be good for a good amount of time. But honestly, find something else while you are working from home now. Get out. It's not good for your mental health. Leadership doesn't care about you. They just want their fat paychecks and bonuses and they will push and push until they break you.

It was stated in today's all hands meeting that such requests would be considered. Probably depends on what your job is too. Best of luck with that. I'm hoping it will work out for me that way too, but since my job involves being on zoom calls all day and updating things in between calls, there is no business reason for me to have to come in. Also not enough spaces in my building if everyone comes back. But we shall see.
