Buenos Dias, spoiled SWNdigo workers. I am the team lead janitor for 4th and 5th floors at Southwest Energy. I work hard to feed my family every day. I been here since building open so I see it all. The layoffs, the dreams come true, the dreams shattered. The shenanigans in the stairwells, the way leaders treat us. There was one leader years ago that say he bring his wife to replace us janitors since she better housekeeper. I have my favorite bosses and I know things not many others know about this place. Mr, Way you challenge me in my job everyday. You paint a bowl like no other I seen and like work of art from Monterey art district. It is my pleasure to clean up after you and Mr Clay each and every day. Your high fiber diet keep me employed and I muchos gracias!

If your sick then you must have a clean test prior to returning to work or else your terminated and stuff. I went to office today to show everyone that I a team player and stuff and to avoid layoffs. Usually on Saturdays I take open door dumps since nobody is there and leave surprises for the Monday morning janitors.
Hearing people talking about being “sick” next Tuesday from layoff “flu”. Wink wink. Stay home!
The real question is…layoffs round 2 in 2021? Yes is my take in current environment.
The short hand or slang term for the newly created “MIE” position is “fa-t sniffer”. I believe there are posts on this forum that prognosticators these truths years ago.
One position that will NEVER be part of any future SWN layoff is the CEO and a Methane Inhalation Engineer or MIE. I am currently interviewing for said position and from what it appears to be is a position supporting the CEO. Yup, that’s right
I'm so tired of seeing these immature joke posts on this forum, especially this crude humor that mocks the hard work I do each day as one of our Methane Inhalation Engineers. Do you even know how much higher our emission numbers would be if my team and I weren't diligently working on the fifth floor? I'm just glad we aren't requiring masks as the delta variant ramps up, those things make my job much harder.
