Refinitiv hit by third outage since April this Monday

Users in Asia and the Europe, Middle East and Africa region were most affected, leaving them able to see news headlines and prices but unable to open articles or data tools. Reuters said it was unclear how many of Refinitiv’s 40,000 customers and 400,000 end users were affected.

The outage prompted several people to say on Twitter that they were unable to access prices.

“It just kept saying ‘connection lost, in offline mode’ or words to that effect every 5/10 minutes,” one subscriber, currency market analyst Michael Brown, told Reuters. “Had to shut it down, then log in again, it would work for a bit then repeat the above.” ■

Clients should be running from this falling house of cards. The quality employees left and are leaving and looking.

Refinitiv/LSEG (whomever) ... "creating whitespace opportunities"..... "for the competition"....

There are outages almost every single week.
No one has a dam clue of what they are doing... 🤣

LSEG must get rid of 1 things:
1) decisions taken during BS madness
2) unaccountable top execs

That was an organised retreat at the end of the day aka saving out arses by any means available.

Now they want a miracle called project Dunkirk.... it might be too late chaps.
Do not change those who created all this mess and not all the money in the world will save your ...

Not sure LSEG will be able to repair the damage… it might just be too late
