The silence regarding our response is deafening. I was told I still had to come to the office but to stay out of conference rooms and not to gather with others. Word is they are tracking many cases in field and Plano. What are they doing? Are they too proud to say it’s smart for us to WFH?

I too take offense at the remark of “sit home and do nothing for a year and a half”! That certainly was not the case for me but truth be told I have lately started realizing there are some employees that do not have a lot to do at Denbury! It’s pretty obvious who they are! That’s really not the employees fault. That’s just bad management.
It’s so hard to read your illiterate nonsense. It’s not our job to educate you when you obviously choose misinformation over logic.
Pay us for a year and a half to do nothing? You can’t argue with stupid….
How long did it take to type out that book? You must have as much of a life as you have sense.
People in Plano were still working. Did the company stop operating? In fact, I was busier than ever because there are half the people in my department after VSP and layoffs. So stick to what you know and that’s not much.
Last poster—what an ignorant m-fer. You know more than the doctors that your loved ones didn’t need a respirator? Stay away from me.
You guys are merely proving the point thats trying to be made. You only function on emotion and that prevents and blinds you from seeing reality. Its devastating and I'm very sorry for anyone's loss of a loved one, the audacity of you to think that I haven't lost anyone because of my post. I have actually lost 3 family members and friends to "covid" but that's the thing that should make everyone angry. Sadly the reality is those 3 i knew had underlying conditions that made them susceptible to flu, covid, pneumonia etc and could've died from anyone of those but because they listed it as covid they had to die alone, no last words, no funeral notbing. 2 of them more than likely died from the respirator that they didn't need at the time. Denbury is not restricting you from wearing a mask or getting vaccinated, they encourage everyone to do what they are comfortable with. But question; if you believe in the science and you are vaccinated and wear as mask aren't you safe or are you going to wait to see what cnn tells you to do next. All I'm saying is mr Kendall is not who you should be mad at, the government are the ones playing with our lives. Instead of spreading fear they should be posting real facts and numbers to prevent mass hysteria. If you put your emotions aside for one second and take the time to dig far enough on the cdc website you'll see how many times they have quietly redacted, retracted and changed data.
Statically our kids are more in danger from the flu than covid. And the reason you don't see any flu numbers is because all entities have been instructed to list all deaths and sicknesses possible as covid and now delta. And don't forget to Mr Kendall just paid you for a year and a half to sit at home and do nothing while these things were figured out so everyone has had ample time to do the research. Please wake up and stop operating out if fear and emotions. It won't bring anyone back but if everyone stands up together it may prevent more from seeing the same fate and we can get back to treating our other loved ones that have illnesses and heart conditions on hold because of ER's sitting empty blocked off from people coming in for treatment. Guess you missed that news story also when this happened last year. Hospitals were told to sit on standby waiting for a flood that never happened while the media portrayed over flowing conditions and panic. And yes I have a very high ranking medical family member who's seen this first hand. Not saying there are no deaths due to 100% covid, just saying there's alot that are falsely recorded and everyone should stand up and demand real facts for every situation. And ps if you really hate the company you work for and can't see that they are relying on everyone to be grown adults and taking personal responsibility than nobody is stopping from quitting. That can happen tomorrow. Stop blaming the wrong people, we are all in this together trying to figure out how to survive the man-made pandemic. If you think the politicians care about you or your loved ones and this isn't all about money. You need to start from scratch and watch this all from the beginning last year and pay attention this time. Sad but true. God bless
Have had to get tested twice in the last month after being exposed at Denbury. This company preaches safety but doesn’t hold anyone accountable for not following the rules.
We as a company of people MUST start thinking about taking matters into our own hands. Kringle/HSE/HR obviously don’t give a damn about us.
Many families I know already have children who have tested positive in with and school as only been open 1-2 weeks depending on your city. With pediatric ICU’s full you can expect see problems in 1-2 weeks as more and more of those unvaccinated children start developing acute symptoms.
There is no other possible outcome here, it’s not if it’s when.
So what are we going to do about this?
What are YOU going to do about this? Are you just going let Kringle drive you off the cliff with your health here cause he refuses to do the right thing? This clown is gonna get a lot of people ki---d.
Time to speak up and Speak out.
Even if you're not worried about COVID, Dallas just said all pediatric ICU beds are full and if your kid is in a car accident or has a bad sports injury they literally have to wait for someone to die to admit someone new. San Antonio didn't have any spare ambulances for half an hour a few days ago cause they were all full of COVID patients. And to your "point" about the flu, it was almost non-existent the past year because people have been washing hands more and social distancing at least a little and then the people who did get it probably didn't go to their doctor or hospital about it cause they didn't want to see if it was the flu or COVID and just stayed home instead
As someone who has lost someone to COVID, your post really infuriates me.
I can’t believe I work with such id--tic, science denying a-holes. It’s real, hopefully you won’t experience it first hand like I have.
Oh look another mo--n…. Bet he/she is a Mgr…
Oh look someone else who thinks they have all the answers. Teach us old wise one…
Perhaps all of us @ Plano should issue a STOP WORK
Only 25 ICU beds available in Dallas County

Basic office/field safety is absolutely Denbury’s responsibility. The vax email mentioned nothing about masking, distancing, or following CDC guidelines. Very disappointing given how many people in my office have been sick.
Vax incentive? Vax bribe you mean.
With the new vax incentive everyone will get the fauci ouchie and we wont need to work from home, no one gets infected once they have the shot....
Wearing a mask isn't very effective at protecting yourself, so keeping yourself safe isn't possible without removing yourself from the area. Think of a spreader like someone with a water hose and a mask is an umbrella, is it easier to stay dry with trying to move the umbrella around yourself or attaching it to the end of the hose instead?
Safety is a personal responsibility. Protect yourself and stop blaming others.
Glad we are wasting $100k on all you snowflakes. If you are scared about your health then go find another job.
Yeah let's get rid of more people. Our talent has done nothing but fall off a Cliff with our new hires. Good attitude to have to tell people to move on. We went bankrupt once, might as well head there again.
Mondays and Fridays is what we get. If you want 100% from home you need to find a different job. They haven’t created a dangerous environment. Wear a mask if you want and hand sanitize if you like. If that’s not for you, plenty of other companies to choose from.
It’s quite clear vaccines aren’t mandatory, even though companies can require that. They’re voluntary, just like your employment. This place will never be a fully remote job. If that’s what you’re jockeying for right now, then there are plenty of options out there. Doors swing open both ways.
Sounds like my chances of winning 10K are going up!!!
They’re engaging in a distraction campaign and ignoring our demands to work from home. They have created a dangerous situation and are now offering money to smooth it over, hoping to deflect the consequences of their decision to keep people at the office.
Don’t take the bait, and there is no gain if we fight each other over vaccination status.
The subject needs to be work from home, not vaccines. There are plenty of safe and effective treatments.
For sure the safest measure to prevent anyone from getting this virus is to stay home. That is not debatable.
Thought getting a vaccine of any kind was a personal choice, and NOBODY ELSE’s BUSINESS. Where was the pressure to get a flu shot when there were deaths from the flu? And mask wearing is ineffective unless you are wearing the N95, or change those surgery paper ones every hour.
Lol. Here’s some money now tell us your vaccine status.
One of the execs will probably win the drawing! 😂😂😂
def not antivax, now gimme that 10k please
If you prefer to wear a mask at work, go ahead and do so. There are several wearing masks on other floors. Being concerned about your own health is perfectly understandable. Especially when others are coughing due to allergies/etc.
Now that’s funny
What makes people think the HQ of an oil and gas company is anti-vax? All the geologists, engineers, IT, accountants are all men and women of science, human ingenuity, technology, math/numbers. I bet those departments are all way more vaccinated than the local average. Stop making vaccination status mean what political party you vote for, because it doesn't.
Man is there not enough managers already?
Anyone heard from the worthless HSE group lately?
Denbury just isn’t the place it once was.
The executives love seeing us in the office according to the email….has anyone seen one? Me either. But they like it.
So find something else or learn to live with it - I think everyone knows this is the way it’s going to be.
For us in cubes and crowded into conference rooms it’s dangerous. People have COVID and you see the empty workspaces.
We only worked from home to build this palace. It was never about our safety.
I forgot to add I feel like the third class passengers on the sinking Titanic while the pandemic hits! Us on the third floor in crowded conditions with only one bathroom while the folks upstairs have their own separate offices and executive bathroom facilities!
My point about offending people was that I know people in the company that are angry about masks and vaccines! I personally believe in science and vaccinations and would prefer to wear a mask on the third floor. Unfortunately, I am afraid it might put my job in jeopardy because someone might take it as a political statement. I can’t afford to lose my job - I don’t want to make any waves in the event there is a layoff or anything.
Ask not what you Denbury can do for you. Ask, what can you do for Denbury.
Leadership is making a terrible mistake, we all agree on that.
Speak out.
Demand Wfh.
Yeah science....id--t. You sound like every talking head on tv. Maybe depopulation isnt such a bad thing after all
Nothing. Get back to work.
