Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Why are more and more people advising not to train replacements?

Last but not least, if your asked to train someone, like your replacement, don't.

Why?
I’m currently training the person I’d most rather advise to run away from here. Still, I try to make it as easy as possible for her to start here because that person is not to blame for anything, the fault lies with DXC.

in the past I trained my replacements because it was my job to so. There is really no other thing to say, you get paid to do a job and when assigned to train you do it.

Lucky for me I was transferred to an elite delivery team and so far I have been saved from WFR. I am in the US so WFR is not worth it.

But I do have to say I work a lot less than I used too because with only a 4% increase in 8 years (and the CEO getting a 50% increase in a year) .

Contempt and bitterness overriding responsibility... Yu think!

It takes a special kind of emotional intelligence to suck the po-p DXC dishes, borderline Stockholm syndrome might describe it!

I've to completely agree with @1cgz+1cZP2gnd - you're a good person. Hopefully, you will be rewarded as such at a better company with employees that share your attitude and mindset.

You are a good person. You are right, its not their fault and I realise you are trying to make their induction smooth and you are playing the corporate line. But they will realise in 6 months what you already know and move on. Just as you should.

See ya at job centre - DXC likes to hire young grads / off shore work to low cost centres so westerns have to do knowledge transfer and then they will WFR more experienced and older staff or bully you into leaving - a horrible and racid company DXC is.
