What about the managers?
Crews will stay on UP freight. Mechanical is a separate roster and cant stay. Up to metra what they need for cleaning and repair . I see alot of layoffs.
Mechanical and crews are gonna be fine…they are already short handed. It’ll be good for them to finally work a decent outfit.
Coach cleaners and Mechanical will be laid off. Metra uses less employees per train than UP. Maybe just the top 40-50% will retain their jobs, if you're lucky.
They might go to what the bnsf does where the bnsf runs the shops and metra does the outlying points
Wonder what will happen to the employees?? Crews should be ok. What about coach cleaners and mechanical??
