They found a loophole to get rid of special needs and long term associates. Make the door person run a register that has a bad leg, make a special needs person run a register that his fingers don't work well, have a Vet with one leg in a wheel chair run a register. Yup if you can't do both....Quit

Our entrance greeter is our top plus performer
Can’t hire anyone for the door at $11/hr and the company isn’t going to pay anyone $15/hr to stand at the door.
The company knew when member support included the membership desk that clubs were not cross training. They let this slide by creating specialist and merging the desk under frontline.
So now the company pulled the rug out from underneath the clubs and will force them to train.
End of the day the door will be the place that associates that don’t get numbers will get to go.
Yes, it is the Sams/Walmart way. Who has the time to go thru the BS of suing this place? So much easier and a thousand times better to move on.
Our associates who were previously support and can't operate a register etc.. are given the 1800# for accomodations. They need to call themselves and set up accomodations that they can't do certain things and can only be used for entrance door. We only put them on the door anyway, however if there are leadership changes in the future, an accomodation on file will ensure no matter of leadership change they will never be placed anywhere else.
This number is found on The Wire by simply searching "accomodations". It's not rocket science.
That is the Sams/Walmart way!
Fake news. Sam's Club would be sued by both the state and the feds and would lose big time.
