I left RJ (I won't say when since I know for a fact that HR monitors this page) after the big layoff. I was in IT and I will never forget that day nor the days immediately following when IT had the worst incident in years. RJ blamed Oracle but it was RJ's fault to due to how things were put together. IT management knows how fragile the environment is which is why every hiccup turns into a major incident. I got tired of being on these calls even when the issue had nothing to do with my area (we were forced to participate). 50 people on a call every time. I wonder what Bella tells Paul to keep her job.

I've noticed in previous posts a few people used hashtags so let make sure we all do it.
Our manager was screaming at us today about the outages of system. Everyday something is down and volume of calls from FAs that are so angry. Weeks after my friends are fired last year, we have the big failure of exadata oracle. Ever since then it is all the time. I see news about how great our technology is, but it is lies.
I agree with this post but I am still at RJ. I am a very little cog in a very large wheel so I am able to hide from most of these issues although I hear about them everyday and yes there are issues nearly everyday. This will catch up to Paul and Bella someday.
