Yesterday was my worst day here ever. I came very close to giving notice out of frustration even though I still hadn’t found a new job. I have long since stopped hoping that something can be changed for the better here. It is a bit sad to say that most employees think that it can only get even worse.

I walked out. Never looked back. Never came back to give them a reach around.
Every week gets a bit worse than the week before. Fewer employees to do the work and more micromanagement.
I left Windstream this year. It was honestly the best move i could have ever made. To those of you still sticking it out. Keep trying to get out. They will not get better. Tony only cares about the money he makes so he can vacation in Europe. Do NOT buy his teary-eyed I love this place bs. He'd sell you all for bottom dollar if he could. And the rest of that leadership are nothing but snakes. Especially in their IT department.
I fight the urge to quit daily. Place is a he-l ho-e and a prison for some.
I would echo this statement. The executives keep preaching things will get better and they never do. We lost another member of our team 2 weeks ago and we were told there is no budget to back fill until next. How were they paying them this year? Again we have less people to do more work.
Between bankruptcy and Covid alot of staff employees feel this way. There are many employees that are frustrated with corporate greed and no staff support.
The great resignation is a real thing.
Ps.. be sure to check this page before you go to another telecom .. I see a lot of turbulent water .. maybe not the title wave of despair but close
Hang tough my friend .. it gets pretty rocky here for sure.. I tend to lean on people within my work group that think like I do for support. Perhaps you can do the same? And to the poster that said unhappy employee equals unhappy customer.. agreed .. I said something very similar in my employee engagement survey.
Yep. I determined to come in with a refreshed positive attitude yesterday, but was destroyed by noon. Until upper management really gives a "ton of appreciation" for us employees (that are left) I only see it getting worse. Unhappy employee=unhappy customer. I hope you all are honest in your employee evaluations and make it sting.
Ditto that. Monday was the worst ever!
