Well, I was 12 months in when they laid me off... right after I rejected an overseas posting. So really, no one is safe.
Under a year you'll be fine but over 18 months and you are cannon fodder.
Thats been the track record. Look at who is doing the recommendations and note their tenure. Longer than 10 and less than .... 30 years in the job.
While it's true that no one is safe and the old saying about last in, first out can sometimes be true, but usually they lay off older workers with high pay rates. Good luck
No one is safe. They have hired people, only to terminate them a few months later. The cost of termination for a long-term employee is way higher than letting a new employee go. Good luck. Hope your boss is still in the infatuation period with you.
As opposed to people who've been here for decades? I've heard I should be safe, but I still worry.
