Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Our reputation is suffering

Things are getting out of hand lately and our once stellar reputation is starting to suffer with our customers. It's like nobody cares anymore, for as long as we get the product out as quickly as possible. How did we get to this point? It's embarrassing, to be honest.

Small point, not just losing customer focus, we lost CUSTOMERS! Downward spiral and our half finished hot rot and rusted F-150’s won’t save us.

That’s what vendors are for, blame them.

Has to be an issue with the windshields and sun roofs to have them fall off, right?

Just like Wiz of Oz, don’t look behind the curtain.

I was told by a LL6 that to never admit a mistake….. credibility would be lost!!! Just sweep it under the carpet. This is the culture at FOMOCO.

This has been a pattern since Ford 2000. Started with the original Escape and Focus and Has continued to creep right up to the present day. What we have now in middle management are not leaders but yes men or bobbleheads. They care more about cutting cost and timing than quality.
They care more about trying to look trendy to a base that does not even buy our products. Drive out of the mid-west and tell us what you see? You drive down the east coast you would think you are in Japan with all the Toyotas cars (Yes Sedans) driving around. God help us if F-Series sales dip below 700k. We have lost customer focus. Has anyone seen a quality improvement in the past year? F-series & Bronco launches are having problems . How can that be after all the build phases we have? Did some Einstein manger do a cost savings to eliminate the very testing that made our trucks tough?

"Are" getting?
The wokeness and virtue signaling escalated soon after Mr. Mullaly retired and that was the pivotal turning point. All the diversity in the world cannot save a leaderless corporation.

All you have to do is look at our executive leadership. Nearly 100% slimy con artists.

If we're this bad with ICE technology, imagine the upcoming EV disaster....

It’s been at least since 2009 that Ford does not have a good reputation. The reason is Ford is not trustworthy, to make reliable vehicles, to treat long time employees fairly, or to be honest about our failures rather than cover them up.

We stopped being stellar when Alan left. Been a long time since we lead in anything but recalls.
