Quitting over a START minor

People quitting in numbers never before seen in my 20 years. Recently saw a guy quit over a start minor. Said he didn't need the harassment anymore. All the old school managers at the top that still believe you have to have lots of discipline, apparently the younger generation ain't with it.

Due to the shortage of qualified people in various industries in America, many companies have eliminated the need for a college degree, as long as the prospective employee demonstrates the ability to do the job they are applying for. Today’s railroad manager’s are the complete opposite. All that is required is a college degree without experience. Many of these young managers have worked hard to obtain mechanical or engineering degrees that are being wasted as discipline tasked railroad managers who’s sole purpose is to watch experienced people do their job, and destroy company morale with documented “violations”. When the music finally stops, and the work is outsourced and eliminated, the rule nannies will no longer be needed, and they will realize they still have no actual experience in their chosen field of education.

Old school managers at the top? Didn’t they fire all of them and put another crew of suit dummy sacks of trash in their seat? Didn’t all remaining managers bend at the knee for PSR? Nothing new here. Move along
