Per the town hall a few days ago. TT plans to mandate the vax per Bidens mandate. Can't say that I blame him since we are a govt contractor.. but wow.. that many not vaxed? I wonder how many will be leaving soon. I might be one of them.

The mandate isn’t widely supported. Before todays covid world - it was the responsible thing to do to reduce overburdened hospitals. Hospitals are fine now. It was also to help protect those who couldn’t get vaxxed. You know “give us your sick…” we take care of our own - or at least pretend to until it ruins my freedom of not wearing a mouth cover. Some professions wear a cover alllll day long but yeah - for you your oxygen is reduced.
I support freedom in all cases. Sc--w those that don’t. Freedom to send my under 5 year old out without fear of long covid / measles / death. Freedom for my immune compromised parents to travel without unreasonable fear of infection and death.

Comirnaty (Pfizer) is approved, and not available in the US. They are not interchangeable and are two different products. So they are all still EUA.

I’m going to try to give you an analogy to help with this conversation. It’s way over simplified because immunology is complex….but I think it will help.
I think some folks don’t really understand what vaccines are. Vaccines train your body to create antibodies against a given disease. There are no 100% effective vaccines. There never have been. The vaccines effectiveness should be thought of like a coach(vaccine) preparing a team(your body) for a big football game. If the coaching staff does a good job, the team should fair well against the other team(disease). Imagine if you had a recording of your opponents plays from the last 10 games. With the help of the right coach you would get a really good understanding of their offense(or defense) and how they run it. That said, the coach can only do so much. If your quarterback can’t walk and half of your offensive line only has one arm (immuno compromised) they are going to have a hard time winning the game.
When I read responses like you just posted I feel like you think Tom Brady and Christian McCaffrey are in that vaccine and they are going to lead the team to victory. That not how it works. The vaccine is like bringing in an NFL coaching staff to help prep you for the game…..but it’s still your body and immune system. That’s why old people have a hard time against this disease. Terry Bradshaw was a great quarterback but if you put him in today he’s going to struggle against the Ravens defense…..why? Because he and his offensive line are old and weak now.
Break through infections happen. We all know this. Nobody promised this vaccine was going to be 100% effective. That said, this is the best coaching staff that the collective world could come up with to help us all win the game. Do your part by taking the vaccine and getting the knowledge for your body to do it’s best against this disease.

Untested? Really? 1.7 BILLION mRNA shots have been administered at this point world wide. What do you qualify as tested if that’s not it? He-l, the first trials shots were administered well over a year ago now.

I went to a state college years ago and vaccinations were required for all on campus students this is no different.

It might be hard, uncomfortable and intimidating but I think being free has it own dignity that can't be bought by compliance with tyranny. I would rather be free, poor and happy than scared, controlled and pacified.
Forcing people to submit to medical procedures in order to secure rights and freedoms is slavery. Plain and simple. A year ago if someone said vaccine passports would be mandated, most people would have called them crazy. Years from now when you are being forced to undergo a "insert a terrifying forced medical procedure here" because a government or business told you so, you will have only you to blame for not fighting back. Fight back now, for yourself, your kids and grandkids.
