The IBM Executive management has no interest in competing with any other companies, there are there to steal as much money as possible so they can retire rich.

If IBM executive management were any more tone-deaf and dependent on their little fantasy-world bubble, they could compete with the elitist crowd at this year's Emmys for "world's most annoying bunch of complete hypocrites".
I lost count of how many Bet The Company moonshots with cute acronyms Ginni had. Call me old-fashioned, but maybe things would have gone better if she'd had an actual strategy?
