Supposedly, Xerox is trying to be a "flat" organization. However, from what I see, there are WAY to many managers, and not enough workers to do the actual work. When everyone is in charge, no one is in charge. Nobody is accountable. And nothing gets fixed. I work I service.

I retired 2 yrs ago, but in our global organization our managers often picked up the slack when they were forced to reduce head count of the individual contributors. They worked extremely hard, but the majority of the managers were also women.
Talk about a solid observation. Look at the GSS/XISO/info section org. Inept managers whose operating principle is to stay employed.
That has been the case for many, many years …Lay off the workers but keep the bloated management …
Too many chiefs…. Wow. Is that the Understatement of the Year. I totally agree. Get these managers off these stupid conference calls and get them out in the field..get busy. Staying at home and isolating yourself from everything is not the answer. Clean House Now. It’s Filthy. 🧹
If your actually trying to fix this company ( if possible ), stand up for what you believe in. Don’t give in.
All the Techs who are left are Dying out there. You might need Money, but at what point do You do sacrifice what Your core values of what’s right are? Not worth it. Not even close. Think about it. If you have to get out of the industry. Do it. Honestly…
It’s Not a Cardinal Sin. It might do wonders for your stress and moral. The rest will come. Life is too short.
You will be okay. If you made it this long putting up with xerox cr-p. You can pretty much work anywhere.

Always been bloated at the top. If you were a stock holder wouldn’t you prefer more people doing actual front line revenue work versus a bunch of c-level a$$ kissers? Oh well. Bye bye xerox. You won’t be missed.
