Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Q3 liability for Flat Rock Plant Gasoline leak?

We’ve displaced 1,000 families for three weeks, at least. Will we have to book a liability in the tens or hundreds of millions of dollars? Will reduce NA profit sharing and bonus.

@1wiy+1cQnGVyN you are 100% right. It’s astounding the whining and finger pointing that goes on here.

Referencing the OP - Typical Ford worker - potentially poison thousands of people and force them to leave their homes, but be more concerned about your profit sharing and bonus!

I constantly read on this site how terrible the management at Ford is. No arguments from me on that thinking. But the Ford GSR level and union workers are not a whole lot better. You give customers pathetic quality products, sometimes life threatening; treat customers like dirt when they have an issue (even under warranty), and only worry about your own pay, benefits, and bonus payments (because you actually think you deserve more).

Real leadership would eliminate your profit sharing and bonuses for the foreseeable future until the culture of the company changes to actually caring about customers, quality, and the community - not just saying it is so.

And for all of you who think you will just leave Ford if they eliminated your bonus - just who is going to hire a bunch of people who just want to work from home/Florida/Arizona (wink-wink), get paid, and not deliver what you get paid now to deliver and are not doing?

The only reason 95% of people are "crying and whining" on this website is that your own job/future is currently in question. You don't care about anyone or anything else. You all have zero ethics. If your jobs weren't being threatened, none of you would care what you do to others (You would be a GM worker!)

And for the few Ford people (and it is becoming a smaller and smaller number each passing year) who have good ethics, do not expect more money for less, do their job, treat others like they want to be treated, etc. - you know who you are and that this posting is not directed at you.

The rest of you can continue to use the same mirror that the queen used in the story of Snow White.

The road bulge and building collapse is not in Dearborn. It's at the corner of Fort and Dearborn Streets in SW Detroit.

I'm wondering about that mysterious road bulging and that p-t building falling forwards toward the road......in....(you're not gonna believe this)......Dearborn.

Makes you think.
