Some of you folks is making this harder than it needs to be. If you don’t want to be vaccinated then find another job…simple!! That makes more room for those of us who are vaccinated!!
HR said it out loud for those who don't understand that if you don't show proof of vaccination or cant show medical documentation from a licensed medical doctor that you are highly allergic or will die from the vaccine or have proof of religious exemption from God or your cult leader that vaccines are the devils seed then YOU WILL BE TERMINATED. No severance and guess what..........no unemployment benefit either. Just get fired and let someone who isn't a member of the "Q" cult have your job.
Ask your leader if there’s financial pressure on your department. There often is, and then they usually have to look at cutting open positions. You could offer yourself up instead. I know if two people that have successfully done that.
You do not get severance when you don't follow company policy. You get fired for cause and shown the door. Severance is provided when you are laid off.
Yes, you can leave with your severance. WHEN THEY LAY YOU OFF!!!! You can't have it both ways! You don't want the vaccine? Fine. Then you'll get fired. You don't want to be fired/without a job? Take the vaccine. Very simple!
I can't afford to quit right now, sadly, otherwise I would.
