Based on an email that went out, it appears that there will be a covid vaccine mandate. Class action lawsuit?

Quit-would not want to stay at any US empire corporation that requires some experimental junk in the body all to keep a lame job to pay endless bills, fees, and taxes galore in the cesspool "country"/corporation.

Now that I think of it. Those who got a substation raise were probably being substantially underpaid. I bet the increase was to keep us at this job but its still lower than a company like Anthem might offer for the same job.

My raise was also to be effective 9/12, today it still shows my old rate. Yes, these were all "market adjustment raises", but coincidentally given the same day the vaccine mandate email was sent out. I believe in hopes to make it harder to leave your position and easier to give in and get the vaccine. Surprised to get a major increase like this, I knew there would be strings attached regardless of what lie I was being told.

I also got a substantial raise randomly on friday and my boss said it would take effect on monday but i looked at my pay and it didnt change and it still hasnt changed as of Wednesday. Was it a bluff? I've never received a random raise like this and I've worked for Optum for a long time.

How do they determine who gets a market adjustment and who does not? I know some who got one and some who did not and they are all on the same team.

Good luck with a class action lawsuit, the Supreme Court has consistently ruled that the Government has a right to require vaccines. UHG is just following the federal guidelines so you’ll have to sue the Feds.

You can double check with our competitors (Cigna/Aetna/etc) but I suspect they’ll have the same rules.

Better brace yourself for open enrollment too, I fully expect an unvaccinated surcharge to be applied.

It's a coercion tactic by biden but using Osha. It was brought up there is some rule says they do not have authority over wfh. Nothing has been issued yet but I would expect an injunction as soon as made public. Depends on how unh wants to handle ultimately but class action lawsuits will be easy to join and for a low pay employees could be well worth it.

If don’t like mandates, just leave. Why work here if you think mandating vaccine is overreach. I don’t want to be working around people who can be dangerous to other’s health. Who knows what else someone who don’t take vaccine has going in their body.

Yes - someone smarter than me please figure out a way that we can all connect. Most people are working from home now, whether considered full-time telecommuter or not..people are afraid to talk about it, so makes it difficult to organize.

I’m in and I have the contacts as they have already filed against DOJ for their mandates for the military.

All products actually available are still under emergency use authorization.
Religious exemptions are parts of our rights and this also includes for the EUA nasal swabs.

The only FDA approved dr-g is not something you can get. The ones you can get are approved for emergency authorization. I will take my chances with the cold.

Company is well within its legal rights to mandate a vaccine requirement. Same thing if they require you to pass a dr-g screening test. Or a background check before you got hired.

Even if you took the vaccine, you should not verify that you did. This is overreach. The company could institute a surcharge on their insurance rates like smoking but to mandate it, nope....
