Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

It is not ideal for anyone here

On one occasion I found myself in the company of a person who until recently worked as a store manager at Sam’s, though at a different location...The person seemed pretty sincere and after everything I heard for the first time I started to think a little differently...

I still don't justify the behavior of my SM, that man makes my job difficult, but now I'm thinking that it's not easy for them to work here either... It's not ideal for anyone here. More than ever, I think everyone below the leadership would like to go to some other company?

I was a SM. I can tell you the things they do to SMs is horrible. And most of the time we know our associates would be happy to see us go. So yes it’s not ideal ❤️

It easy for those who don’t think to say leave! My momma been here 12 years shows up does job! Now they change that position! If managers were smart they would make work hours and position the same and be glad folks come to work! They doesn’t need to do fifteen jobs!!! Schedule people and hire people for a job not 8 jobs home office don’t know nutjing!!

most folks are NOT happy here. SOME are but sooner than later wont be. Managers mostly are children passing their dissatisfaction onto the associates...

I understand what you are saying, most people are scared of the jump, a manager is making decent wage, comfortable with two people income, single parent still struggles, but that is just it, you have a steady income with insurance if something happens and you have to go out of work. You don’t necessarily agree with all the changes, you help your associates to adjust, unfortunately some don’t and they loose their jobs. It is no different in management, some adjust, some don’t and loose their jobs. They live from day to day never knowing what is coming next just like our associates.

Yeah, most folks are happy. If you hate it so much, LEAVE. It really, truly is that simple.
