Sometimes it may be more important to know what we don't want than what we want. After a few years here, it is now much clearer to me what where I do not want to work. However, how can I fully know that I will not be greeted by the same atmosphere in the companies where I apply as here? I’m inquiring, doing my research on the company, but again I don’t think I can be sure what the situation will be like until I start working there. My question is how do you do research on the companies you want to apply to in order to avoid the mistake of going into an unhealthy atmosphere again?

I find Glassdoor hard to use. Indeed to me is/was more user friendly. I take them both with a grain of salt. My wife did get a good job through Indeed.
@1ggh Sorry but I can't believe there is still someone out there who trusts the information they find on Glassdoor.
I've used Glassdoor.
