Believe me, I don't have any strong opinions on the matter, but I have to wonder now how all the anti-vaxxers are going to handle this (also, how do you 'weekly test' WFHers?). I also have to wonder how this has any impact when 80+% of the company is WFH, that is, has no physical contact with any co-workers (and hasn't in 18 months), and likely won't be back in the office until well into 2022.

I’ve grown to be a very cynical person through my own life lessons and experiences of others. I’ve learned that anyone, including an accredited professional, can have strong biases, attitudes and agendas that align with “the end justifies the means” kind of view. So, no matter who the accredited individual is, whether a scientist, a clinician, or Dr. Anthony Fauci himself, I’m not not likely to forthright believe anyone on things that can permanently affect my health. The more coercive the means employed by government and my employer, the more resistance I’ll become. There’s something inherently wrong with the Covid vaccinations. I won’t risk my health to find out down the road when it’s too late.

Two things to note on fake cards. One is they required a CDC seal. Faking that is a federal crime. Second, every state is Required by the CDC to store your name in a database when you got the jab.

@npbg, So you think it’s easy for an employer to cross reference or validate the information shown on a fake vaccine card….or valid one for that matter? Maybe its “easy” in your imagination, but in the real world, it is not easy. There are impediments to easily getting the information needed for validation. First of all, no centralized State or Federal database was set up to make cross referencing possible. If you can’t imagine why that is the case, then you know nothing about or don’t appreciate the privacy laws in this country and the legal hurdles it takes to set this law aside just to serve this purpose. All you have is the paper vaccine card, that’s all. That will have to serve as proof for your vaccination status. That is what I have, albeit a fake one, and that’s the card I’ll show anyone who absolutely needs to see it. Since I know very well the information on the card cannot be validated, I can show it without feeling nervous because it cannot be cross referenced and I won’t be penalized in any way.

Mandate for NYC Public School Employees Upheld
New York City public school employees are required to have at least one dose against COVID-19 by Oct. 4. On Sept. 27, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in the city's favor on the vaccine mandate for public school employees. "Vaccinations are our strongest tool in the fight against COVID-19," said a spokeswoman for the New York City Department of Education.
