Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

I don't know if this kind of stress is worth it anymore

What is the most stressful part about working at Chase for you? I’ve been getting more and more easily irritated lately because I’m under tremendous stress. The job has certainly always been stressful, but micromanagement has been leading me to burnout for the last two or three months. I started having psychophysical problems as a result of stress. I used to be satisfied with pay, but I think it's no longer worth it.

I no longer work at chase since I have switched to another job recently. The great resignation is real and since we are at a rare period where job market is competitive and employees now have to power, employers now offer higher compensation then before just to hire new people, and yes, it is higher than my previous job, which is one of the reasons why I switched in the first place so gotta take advantage of this while it lasts

Hang in there. The only thing that is consistent is change.

There have been people leaving so I have to take on other people’s responsibilities, some even from another team. But that’s what you get for being replaceable ?
