If it is declared a natural disaster area the company will pay you. They did in our area when it was declared a natural disaster area. Everyone scheduled got paid. If you went in you got paid for the hrs worked and they paid you additional.
Do not call in or use protected pto. Call member of management to check what to do. When the freeze happened in Texas, I was schedule to go in. Management told us not to go in nor call in. I was paid for the days I was schedule to work.
You mean that if the club didn't open because of natural disaster, but they scheduled to work we don't get paid?
No, you can use your PPTO, if you miss work.
