Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

What salary can I expect as a PHd grad in Oregon?

Maybe this is not the best place to post this question but can you share what salary should I expect to get as a RCG in Oregon?
I will be interviewed at Ronler Acres.
Thanks

What a $hit show, all them PhDs working so hard and still squandered a theee year lead to be two years behind, not only stupid, work like slaves and losers, what a place for a career

I am a PhD who started in HVM in another state besides Oregon. HVM is rough, and I transferred to another TD site that is more rewarding to me, also outside of Oregon. However, DO YOUR RESEARCH! There is a TD org in Oregon that everyone knows is a living He-l. Do not go to the wafer fab. People have left those jobs for family and health reasons. Ask the people in that group how often they work more than 12 hrs a day and how much they work on the weekends. If you hear something like 8-5 on the weekends and 7 - 8 on the weekdays for most of the year, don’t go there. There are better options in places with a similar salary and a lower cost of living.

You should avoid Ronler at all cost!

That place spent billions and had the most talent in US and went from leading the world in silicon technology by two years to three years behind, it was so bad a bunch of senior VPs, fellows and seniors fellows all got removed and nothing has changed still, do your due diligence or enter the cesspool with mouth wide open to drink that $hit

Do yourself a favour and skip intel, you can make much more elsewhere. If you are desperate for a job and have no other options then take it but keep interviewing.
