Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

What to do?

If you find out you are being underpaid compared to your colleagues who are doing the same job and have roughly the same experience, are there any steps to take to rectify that? How safe is it to ask for a raise and not risk getting your name on the next layoffs list?

Best thing is to leave and get at least a 20% raise at the new job.

You need to man up (or woman up ?) and ask for your raise. Your weak and passive nature are one of the reasons why you’re being underpaid and being taken advantage of. If they refuse, find another job. Remember, working in the same company longer than 2 years get paid 50% less. There are ton of articles about salary increase from job changing, look it up
