Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Tired of working here

I can't be the only one who's just tired of it all. Tired of the constant worry and stress associated with never-ending layoffs, tired of cr---y company politics that favor buttkissers over hard-working employees, tired of feeling frustrated because I'm working a dead-end job... Just tired in general. I wish I had the courage to leave.

We're losing another manager. Anyone know for sure if they're doing layoffs in Florida? Iam ready to get my severance so I can relax!

Resignation Letter:
To Whom It may Concern,
In 2009 I lost my job and couldn't find employment for a whole year. During that year, my wife left me, my step son started selling dr-gs, my friends stop talking to me, my car got repossessed and my dog bit me. I had to ask my family money and ended up having to file bankruptcy. And I would gladly go through all of that he-l again rather than work one more month at Centene.
Have a great day!

@ 2ife+1cAcLSAQ: HR is buried right now. People are leaving faster than replacements can be hired. The talent market has shifted in favor of applicants.

If you had an offer letter it usually has a start date and manger name. Call them.

Start updating your resume and applying now because seems like everyone is looking, and there are plenty of companies who will allow people to work remotely. Practice makes perfect especially in interviews. Don't wait until the layoff comes because the job market may be cold then, and you would have lost the advantage. FYI I left and have never been happier - and glad I took the leap.

Market is good. Start looking while you have a job. I quit and feel relieved with all the stress and leadership bias. Good luck

Same. I’ve had my resignation letter on my laptop for a couple weeks now. Every morning the first thing I do is update the effective date and last day.

It’s a good daily reminder that I’m in control and will decide when I leave.

When choosing to be unemployed is a legit alternative to staying with CNC, something has gone wrong.
