I've already been through all the stages of grief just waiting to be laid off, now I'm in the acceptance stage and I feel good about it. I'm ready to move on. Although, knowing my luck, now that I'm no longer stressing about being laid off 24/7 chances of me actually being laid off have dropped drastically.

You want to be laid off, then quit , no one is holding you here. US in the US only get 8 weeks max, so it makes no difference to us . Anywhere else your just babies if you want to be laid off, then leave we don't want you
Got it last year only to be told the day before i was due to leave it wasn't happening painful period, cant wait until is voluntary then I'm putting in for it, string it out until then with a regular income from the mo--ns.
I got WFR'd in spring 2021 and got a decent payout since I'd been there a long time. I had a new job offer 3 days after I got WFR'd and started it 4 weeks later. I am VERY VERY happy, and am making so much more money. Definitely start the groundwork now for your new job. Hope your WFR comes along soon. Good luck.
Losing control of one's own destiny is painful - which is more about giving up on yourself... This company makes you do that by wearing your spirit away!
Take control, be active in seeking alternative employment (at DXC time and expense) do not resign out of spite unless you can afford to test the 'counter offer' theory.
Take no holiday, just disappear, train, talk to agents, work on CV, interview - all on DXC time!
Using DXC time (not yours) to escalate the attrition rate beyond the DXC planned rate is the only way to notch up the level of discomfort. After all, it is only following the CEO instruction!
Do not wait for DXC to give 'the easy out' - only central eu regions can really afford to hang on, but *all others should plan to be out in six months.
Put this company in the correct place, let it collapse under the weight of penalty clauses on contracts it cannot sell! Prevent the re-instatement of dividend payments, watch Execs panic sell $0 options and see the market short this piece of cr-p.
I recognize the feeling! It will not go away!
Got an idea you want to be laid off, then take your vacation and come back for a day and QUIT! Easy as that
I guess a lot of people are fed up as there's tiny rises except for a luck few see below, no future direction except for cuts in other benefits, so it's a sinking dead end company.
Only people who are on a good sc--w are B, F, S and that's not a swear word you were thinking Bull, FFing, Sit, its actually (Bagal,Finch,Salvino)
Let's see what Sal says on the growth plan if there will be in any change from the cut plan.
100% feel the same, I just want that email to tell me I'm free (with 2 years wages of course)
