Morale is as low as I've ever seen it

How come nobody cares enough to do something about it?

When you say “nobody cares enough to do something about it” what exactly do you mean? Management is strictly interested in the bottom line and most employees are in survival mode. This pandemic of the last year and a half hasn’t been much of a help either.

Moral is so low even my closest work friends are turning their backs on me. Its sad that its coming to this. What once was a great team camaraderie is now nothing but an uphill battle with "he said she said" BS. I didn't expect it would ever come to this but I guess my expectations were set to high.

Morale is low? I'm shocked. That's not what those organizational health surveys all say. McK's expensive consulting advice can't possibly be wrong, can it?

@1jqr+1cAItEDA "Perhaps if they just spoke to people and employees could provide honest feedback without fear of retribution ..."

The kind HR people at TR do this with their totally anonymous employee surveys. You know, the one with your very own personal online link. They welcome honest feedback so they can make the company a better place, and they really do care.

@1slh+1cAItEDA,

U must mean...

Be anywhere else now! Their (mood) elevator never went to the top floor.

Re. The 'Here and now' course. What a load of B****ks that was.
Did it really make a difference ? Did the company need a course like that to tell you how people were feeling and where they were on the 'mood' elevator.

Perhaps if they just spoke to people and employees could provide honest feedback without fear of retribution, it may have been better.

I am guessing all those people who got shafted unjustly on their reviews by spineless managers, were feeling quite low on the mood elevator ?

TR doesn’t pay enough for people to care.

Hold up just a minute. Just recently I watched a Town Hall and one of the presenters said there's lots of energy and this energy is....um, exciting, and it's even more so than a year ago. And...change, and...momentum and stuff.
