This place is an absolute train wreck. This has to be the worst run Fortune 500 out there. The training and garbage equipment is laughable. Wish I’d have heard about this site before coming on board.

To sum it up in a previous post “Allsnake is run like a broke start up”
To be fair, Allstate was better before covid and working from home when everyone was in the office. I think now that the offices are closed the CEO and his evil henchmen are in money saving mode
It's amazing isn't it? When you come to Allstate from another organization and it's such a dumpster fire (not limited to claims by any means). No leadership, no decision making, no coordination. It's so obviously poorly run, but the lifers don't see it. They have a very high opinion of themselves and their important role in preventing solutions and avoiding responsibility.
Doesn’t anyone read Glassdoor or connect with people in the position on LinkedIn and ask about what the day to day is like????? If you you reap what you sow
Underwriting wasn’t much better, and not even considered real underwriting anymore. We were then glamorized customer service reps and eventually will be going to India too.
Glad I got out.
I feel bad for you. Allstate is on its last leg. Also be forewarned here, they are moving claims to India in the next year or two. You may have about a year or so of employment before you get the shaft.. if you are in that part of the company.
If you are in any other part of the Company you will be assessed by whoever purchases this sinking wreck. The Execs and Board are currently cashing out and are in the process of preparing the financials for when the company is put on the market for merger/sale in 2024-25 ish, which is why they dont care about Employee Morale here in the U.S.
Property claims is where I currently work. Currently applying elsewhere.
Fake news, this is probably someone writing fan fic
Sorry for you. Within two weeks of onboarding, I too was shocked that this was a fortune 100 company. Based primarily on the knowledge of the leaders. I figured surely they leaders would be competent. But, no.
Sorry to hear that. Which department are you in? I bet it's claims
