Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

The best advice I can give you

You agreed to less than market value pay to be used and abused by a company that doesn’t care in any way, shape or form about you. Once you realize and accept this there are only two options: grin and bear it while feeling undervalued and underappreciated or find a job that will pay you what you feel you are worth. After a few years of experiencing the former I decided to do the latter. I have no regrets whatsoever.

I agree. I did the same. I found new job after a decade long tenure with centene and feels so refreshing

I completely agree with this. After enduring too many mental beat downs, I decided to fire this company as my employer and successfully found another job that was a much better environment. It didn’t happen overnight, and I didn’t take the first few job offers, but landed somewhere much better. It’s refreshing to attend town halls again where the CEO with my new employer is refreshing to listen to as well as my leadership who is supportive and appreciative of my team’s hard work. Life is short, no one is promised tomorrow, there are better employers and opportunities out there.
