Do we still have a marketing team here? If you go to any of the conferences where NOV has a booth, there is really no representation from Tuboscope. With the exception of the occasional few that post on social media, there’s no advertising or marketing anywhere with our company. When did we get so lazy and uncaring about our business? Back in the day, we all bled green.

There is NO "Green Dragon" it had been depleted years back.
Do we have coating? It matters what day of the week it is and what the Wizard of Oz at Holmes Rd spews out when talking to the entire sales and Ops teams. Anytime he’s asked, it’s the same regurgitated babble that he spits out every other time. It’s a yes or no question but no, that would be too easy. Instead you get an economics lesson and a lesson on the supply chains and shipping industry and how hard his job is. The fact that he has managed to keep his position here speaks volumes. When we continue to lose more and more customers, it’ll be the boots on the ground staff that will get cut first.
Now they’re taking our ICP’s away. This is the final nail in the coffin. Put a fork in her boys, she’s done.
What is a rase?
Hey, Management, when do we get a rase?
But do we have coating yet??? Asking for a friend
To be fair, he didn't say she was good at marketing.
Plenty of time out of town for trips, conferences, trade shows and travels with your bosses and was good enough to move up...........
If it’s so bad here, why don’t you people just leave?
What’s left to market? They’ve cut all of the business units so deep, we can’t get anything done. These new hands they’re bringing over to south are a joke.
Actually good?? What did she do? Other then follow other managers around for parties and such. Traveling on the company dime and producing nothing. She can’t even name one of our customers.
They took our marketing girl up to corporate because she was actually good.
At least she made it out as the rest of tubo circles the drain.
No marketing required, everyone knows NOV unless of course you’re in the pump business in which case no one knows NOV.
Biggest problem is KS who will never believe in the need for marketing, very arrogant but great for competitors who tell our customers that we closed up!
The marketing for T-scope left when the Segway Rider left for Rig. He was the backbone of that group.
