Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

This question is for sales reps

I gotta ask, what the he-l is keeping you here?
Customers dropping like mad, they are tired of AR issues, HCL a disaster, customers are catching on that they are not dealing with people in the U.S., nobody is paying their invoices, constant buyout to return requests are being requested, no inventory even if you get a deal, customers not in the offices so no longer want to pay for base contract so a ton of service revenue gone, days go by until you get a response to your emails............If I was in sales I would NOT be trying to sell here.....please enlighten us on why you are sticking around??? Is it because you are just happy with your base salary???

Simple…there is ALWAYS money to be made. The best salespeople step up and make stuff happen regardless of the situation. Things are far from perfect at Xerox, but it’s stuff you can overcome.

I like this question and would also like to know why sales is sticking around. My core sales team is a shell of itself. Service and supplies regress and little to no equipment.
