Yes, that's Schlumberger's way and I no longer intend to work for a company that is so little transparent. I don’t know what they want to achieve with such lack of transparency, but they definitely don’t achieve that people want to stay here.
If there were transparency their blatant violations of the law would be more visible.

Incompetent management creates insecurities for them self. Promoting people of certain background for middle management and not based on experience. Asking employees to get action items to improve their engagement is not how good managers and leaders act.
