They minimize your job even as you have 30 yrs experience, they dump a bunch of id--ts from Stefanini in the mix and everyone at the company you support thinks these ID--TS are on your level providing there WORST SUPPORT EVER, asking users who run production to image their own laptops. The worst job I ever had and the lowest pay. If you are a woman or a minority, RUN!!!!

Dear DXC,
Having just completed my BSc in Computer Science for which I received a 2-1, I believe I have the right skills to apply for a role in your organisation. Having spent my last year leading a research project involving a team of colleagues into Horpmorphic encrytion, AI network heuristics and AR/VR application in medical diagnosis. I feel that I have been able to demonstrate strong leadership skills in my field and I am looking to step out of my comfort zone somewhat and take on a role where I will feel diminished.
I feel it is important that in becoming (hopefully) part of tomorrow's leadership in IT, that it is important that I experience how it feels to work for little money, conflicting requirements, impossible challenges and to not expect any recognition for my contribution. It is also important to me that my flexibility for my otherwise innovative side to be stifled and curtailed by a company wishing to only to further the profits than to see the big picture of how my ideas could help provide value to the customer.
Having completed my work experience in a Government health laboratory for 6 weeks to gain real-life experience, I would also welcome the opportunity to work in a depressive and toxic environment with lots of experienced people telling me about how I want to get out as soon as I can and to tell me "Who knows" when I ask who is in charge here. I believe I would thrive on such challenges and will quickly adapt to learn your processes that I believe don't reflect your actual service workflows.
My Salary expectations are obvously low and I do not expect any pay raise or promotion for my efforts, just the knowledge that I am learning life's experiences. I recognise I would have to complete a 3 month probation period that is mandatory to determine my specific tolerance for pain, after which I may be offered a position in a client facing role to explain why things can't be done.
I am really excited to join DXC and believe this will be a valuable asset to my CV to demonstrate to others my perseverance and survival skills that will help further my career.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Dylan.
